About the Role We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team at the Railroad Commission of Texas. This role requires extensive experience in Oil & Gas regulatory domain and various technical systems. Key Responsibilities • Perform business analysis for Oil & Gas regulatory systems • Conduct requirements elicitation and create technical documentation • Model business processes and data structures • Transform mainframe systems and reverse engineer legacy systems • Develop functional specifications and conduct UAT • Analyze root causes of issues and ensure regulatory compliance Requirements • 15+ years of Business Analysis experience • Expertise in RBDMS (Risk Based Data Management System) for Oil & Gas regulatory systems • CCBA/CBAP certification • Strong experience with COBOL, SQL, and Azure DevOps • Proficiency with Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, and Axure • Knowledge of SSIS, ETL processes, and Snowflake • Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies • Must-have: Strong RBDMS Oil & Gas regulatory system experience
