About the Role We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the State of South Carolina team. This role involves analyzing business processes, documenting requirements, and developing workflows for state government programs. Key Responsibilities • Analyze business processes and document requirements • Develop workflows and stakeholder communication strategies • Perform software QA and testing, including test design, execution, and defect tracking • Develop customized test procedures for software analysis • Design business processes and utilize various software tools Requirements • 7+ years of experience in software analysis, testing, and developing customized test procedures • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, requirements documentation, workflow development, and stakeholder communication • 5+ years of experience in software QA and testing • 2+ years of experience in business process design • 5+ years of hands-on experience with TFS, Visual Studio, SQL Server, MS Project, Balsamiq, and Microsoft Office • Previous experience working with State, Federal, and/or Local Government organizations • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience Benefits • Opportunity to work with state government programs including Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF • Experience in a hybrid work environment • Chance to contribute to public-sector Economic Services programs
