About the Role We are seeking a Business Analyst for an 8-month contract position in Richmond, VA. This role requires local candidates who can work 4 days onsite and 1 day remotely. The position involves supporting application development and the SDLC through requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management. Key Responsibilities • Perform requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management • Conduct business process analysis and workflow documentation • Support application development and the SDLC • Perform system testing and manual web application testing • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and UAT scripts • Identify, document, and track defects and bugs • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies • Document meeting minutes, project decisions, and action items Requirements • Strong experience in Business Analysis and Systems Analysis • Experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management • Business process analysis and workflow documentation skills • Experience supporting application development and the SDLC • Hands-on experience with system testing and manual web application testing • Ability to develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and UAT scripts • Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects/bugs • Experience participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills • Ability to document meeting minutes, project decisions, and action items Additional Requirements • Must be local to Richmond, VA • Must be available to work onsite 4 days per week • Must be available for an in-person interview • C2C engagement for an initial 8-month contract, with possible extension
