About the Role We are seeking a C++ Developer with media expertise to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role involves developing media pipeline stacks and working with various video streaming technologies. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement media pipeline stacks for consumer electronic devices • Work with video streaming technologies including DASH, HLS, and Progressive Download • Implement Digital Rights Management (DRM) solutions using Widevine, PlayReady, and FairPlay • Design and implement secure media pipelines • Collaborate with team members on architecture, design, and implementation planning Requirements • 6+ years of experience in software development for consumer electronic devices • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, or equivalent field • Proficiency in C, C++/C++11, JavaScript, and JSON • Experience with media frameworks such as GStreamer and FFmpeg • Knowledge of audio/video formats including H.264, HEVC, MP4, CMAF, MPEG-2 TS, HDR, and Dolby Vision • Experience in multithreaded programming and inter-process communication (IPC) • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Self-motivated, proactive, and a good team player
