About the Role We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS, FIX Protocol, and the Banking domain for a 1-year contract position. This role requires strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and automation. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and IaC best practices • Dockerize applications and establish container standards for deployments • Build end-to-end AWS cloud environments from scratch based on functional and non-functional requirements • Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS solutions • Automate AWS infrastructure provisioning, including VPCs, Kubernetes nodes, Lambda, and RDS • Collaborate with Application and DevOps teams to enable CI/CD and cloud adoption • Implement cloud governance, security, and operational best practices • Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using GitLab Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services, including IAM, EKS, Networking, and Storage • Practical experience with Terraform and AWS infrastructure automation • Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployments • Experience with Kubernetes, EKS, and ECS • Ability to independently design and implement enterprise-scale cloud architectures • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Bash and Python scripting • Strong FIX Protocol and Networking experience is mandatory
