About the Role We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join Wells Fargo's team. This role involves designing and managing secure, scalable cloud platforms with a focus on automation and infrastructure management. Key Responsibilities • Design and manage secure, scalable cloud platforms • Automate infrastructure using Terraform and Python • Support Kubernetes and OpenShift environments • Implement cloud security and governance policies • Enable GenAI, LLM, RAG, and MLOps workloads across cloud platforms Requirements • 8+ years of experience in cloud platform engineering • Strong hands-on experience with GCP and/or Azure • Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills • Knowledge of cloud networking, landing zones, hybrid connectivity, and cloud governance • Experience with Kubernetes, GKE, and/or OpenShift (OCP) • Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, IAM, secrets management, and policy-as-code • Understanding of GenAI, LLMs, RAG, MLOps, and LLMOps • Experience with observability, SRE, SLOs, and cloud platform monitoring • Python scripting and infrastructure automation skills • Experience with internal developer platforms/portals and self-service infrastructure
