About the Role We are looking for a skilled Confluent Kafka Engineer with strong expertise in Kafka administration, cloud environments, governance, troubleshooting, and Java-based application development. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Kafka-based solutions • Manage Kafka clusters, topics, ACLs, RBAC, and API keys • Configure and maintain Schema Registry, Cluster Linking, and Data Contracts • Develop and maintain Kafka Connect – Source and Sink Connectors • Monitor Kafka performance, consumer lag, and optimize system performance • Develop Kafka Producers, Consumers, and Kafka Streams applications • Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms Requirements • 8+ years of experience with Confluent Kafka and Kafka administration • Strong understanding of cloud environments • Experience with Kafka governance and troubleshooting • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs • Knowledge of Kafka Clusters, Topics, ACLs, RBAC, and API Keys • Experience with Schema Registry, Cluster Linking, and Data Contracts • Familiarity with Kafka Connect – Source and Sink Connectors • Skills in Monitoring, Consumer Lag, and Performance Optimization • Experience with Kafka Producers, Consumers, and Kafka Streams • Understanding of Security, Authentication, and Authorization
