About the Role The State of Michigan is seeking a Data Developer specializing in Oracle and COTS solutions for a 1-year contract position with likely extensions. This role requires hybrid work with onsite presence every Tuesday and Wednesday. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions • Work with Oracle SQL Developer and Toad tools • Design logical and physical data models and implement normalization • Perform data analysis, ensure data quality, and manage metadata • Develop and integrate SOAP and REST web services • Implement data migration, conversion, and ETL processes • Integrate and support vendor-hosted and COTS applications • Troubleshoot, tune performance, and optimize databases Requirements • 8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience • 8+ years of experience with Oracle SQL Developer and Toad • Strong expertise in Oracle database objects, data modeling, and normalization • Experience in data analysis, data quality, and metadata management • SOAP/REST web services development and integration skills • Data migration, conversion, and ETL process experience • Experience integrating or supporting COTS applications • Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and database optimization skills
