About the Role We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join an established data team within a leading organization, working on large-scale data engineering and cloud data platform initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutions within a modern Microsoft Azure and Databricks environment • Help transform and optimize the organization's data platform • Build reliable, scalable, and high-performance data solutions Requirements • Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, or similar • Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based data engineering solutions • Strong practical experience with Databricks, ideally within large-scale data environments • Experience designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines • Experience working with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and other Azure data services • Comfortable working independently within international, distributed teams Benefits • Freelance contract with fully remote working • 30 days onsite per year in Brussels, Belgium (of your choosing)
