About the Role We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in API Gateway technologies, particularly Kong and Apigee, to join our team. Key Responsibilities • Administer, configure, and manage API Gateway platforms such as Kong and Apigee • Design, develop, and implement REST API integrations • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application deployments • Develop enterprise data architecture solutions and establish reusable design patterns • Create technical architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and design documentation • Work with SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based data platforms • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on enterprise data strategy, security, and digital transformation initiatives Requirements • Strong hands-on experience in Data Engineering and enterprise data architecture • Practical experience with Kong and/or Apigee API Gateway administration • Solid understanding of REST APIs and API integrations • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines • 2+ years of experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible Tower, Puppet, or Selenium • Knowledge of SQL, databases, cloud technologies, and SDLC • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
