About the Role We are looking for a Data Governance Engineer to join the State of Texas team. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining Informatica data governance solutions using tools like Axon, EDC, and IDQ. Key Responsibilities • Implement and maintain Informatica data governance solutions using Axon, EDC, and IDQ • Develop and maintain data catalogs, metadata repositories, lineage documentation, and data quality rules • Integrate Informatica solutions with Snowflake and other cloud data platforms • Build and maintain API integrations, automated workflows, and data validation processes • Support enterprise data governance standards, data privacy, PII compliance, and regulatory requirements • Contribute to legacy data migration and modernization initiatives • Troubleshoot data-related issues and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders • Provide technical guidance and recommendations for reporting and data management solutions Requirements • Minimum 12+ years of overall experience • Strong hands-on expertise in Informatica data governance tools, metadata management, data lineage, IICS, and Snowflake • Experience with API integration and workflow automation • Knowledge of cloud data platforms including Azure, AWS, and Databricks • Understanding of data modeling and relational database management systems • Experience with enterprise information management • Ability to work remotely within the USA and available during 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST
