About the Role We are looking for a highly senior, hands-on Data Platform Engineer for a 6-month contract with likely extension. This role focuses on building, owning, operating and troubleshooting production data platforms. Key Responsibilities • Build, own and operate production data platforms • Troubleshoot production data platforms • Provide technical leadership while still getting into the code and infrastructure • Combine Data Engineering + Platform Engineering + Cloud/DevOps/SRE Requirements • 10+ years of overall engineering experience • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, platform automation, monitoring, observability, reliability, Snowflake, Python, SQL, Airflow, IAM, security and data governance • Experience with Staff, Principal, Architect or highly senior IC-level engineering roles • Deep platform ownership • Ability to provide technical leadership while still getting into the code and infrastructure
