About the Role We are looking for an experienced Databricks Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, PySpark, and Azure DevOps for a long-term contract opportunity in New York City. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable, secure enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. • Lead data architecture strategy, platform modernization, and roadmap development. • Implement AI-driven analytics using Databricks Genie and Agent Bricks. • Build data lakes and data warehouses for reporting, AI, and machine learning. • Develop automated data pipelines and CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps. • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-scale solutions. Requirements • 12+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, PySpark, and Azure DevOps. • Strong understanding of data lakes, data warehousing, and data modeling. • Experience with cloud governance, security, and performance optimization. • Preferred domain experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, including claims, underwriting, policy administration, or related insurance data platforms.
