About the Role We are looking for a Databricks Architect to join our team for a short-term contract with potential extension. This role requires significant experience in data analytics and Databricks architecture. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Databricks solutions • Lead data engineering projects • Integrate with AWS services • Maintain Unity Catalog and Delta Lake Requirements • 12+ years of experience in Data & Analytics • 5+ years of Databricks Architecture experience • Strong hands-on Databricks implementation skills • Experience with AWS: S3, Redshift, Lake Formation, EMR, Glue • Proficiency in Apache Spark / PySpark • Knowledge of Unity Catalog, Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture • Experience with Databricks Genie, Agent Bricks and Mosaic AI is preferred • Insurance domain experience is a plus • AWS Solutions Architect certification is preferred Important: Only local candidates who can work onsite in North York 3 days per week from Day 1. No remote candidates or relocation support.
