About the Role We are hiring a hands-on Databricks Architect for a long-term contract-to-hire opportunity with Public Consulting Group (PCG). Key Responsibilities • Actively code in Databricks and PySpark • Design and implement Databricks Lakehouse Architecture • Administer Unity Catalog and implement governance • Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code • Work with Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, and Databricks Workflows • Implement CDC / Change Tracking • Set up CI/CD for Databricks deployments • Perform performance tuning, optimization, and code reviews • Work with Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud platforms Requirements • Recent hands-on PySpark & SQL development experience • Strong Databricks Lakehouse Architecture expertise • Unity Catalog Administration & Governance • Terraform / Infrastructure as Code • Delta Lake, Delta Live Tables, Databricks Workflows • CDC / Change Tracking experience (SQL Server CDC preferred) • CI/CD for Databricks deployments • Performance tuning, optimization, and code reviews • Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud experience
