About the Role We are looking for a Databricks Architect for a 6-12 month contract position. This role requires extensive experience in data architecture and engineering, with a focus on Databricks. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement data architecture solutions using Databricks • Develop and maintain data pipelines using PySpark and SQL • Implement and manage Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse Architecture • Ensure data governance, security, and performance optimization • Utilize CI/CD practices and Terraform for infrastructure management Requirements • 7+ years of Data Architecture/Data Engineering experience • 3+ years of Databricks Architecture experience • Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL • Expertise in Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and Lakehouse Architecture • Experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Data Governance • Strong knowledge of performance tuning, security, and cost optimization • Mandatory: Glider assessment completion and professional references required
