About the Role We are seeking a Databricks Partner Champion to provide strategic technical leadership across Databricks and Data & AI initiatives. This role involves leading complex customer engagements and implementation projects. Key Responsibilities • Provide strategic technical leadership across Databricks and Data & AI initiatives • Lead complex Databricks customer engagements and implementation projects • Drive Databricks Centre of Excellence (CoE) development and growth • Define architecture standards, best practices and delivery frameworks • Build strong relationships with Databricks Partner Alliance, Account and Field teams • Mentor technical teams and develop future Partner Champion candidates • Support strategic sales pursuits, customer workshops and executive presentations • Contribute to Databricks community initiatives, technical blogs and thought leadership Requirements • Active Databricks Partner Champion status is mandatory • Must have successfully completed the Databricks Partner Champion panel process • 8+ years of experience in Data & AI / Data Engineering • Proven experience in Databricks customer delivery and implementations • Experience building and contributing to Databricks CoEs • Strong customer-facing technical leadership and advisory skills • Active contributor to the Databricks ecosystem • Experience developing technical accelerators, reusable frameworks and solutions • Databricks Lakehouse Architecture • Apache Spark & Delta Lake • Unity Catalog • Data Engineering & Data Architecture • Machine Learning & Generative AI • Analytics Engineering • Data Platform Modernisation • Cloud Data Platforms
