About the Role We are seeking an ETL Developer for a 12-month contract position in Madison, WI. This role involves developing and maintaining ETL processes for data integration and warehousing. Key Responsibilities • Gather requirements and develop technical specifications for ETL processes • Design and implement ETL jobs using ETL tools, with preference for Alteryx • Develop various types of data loads including incremental, history/full, and survivorship rules • Implement change data capture (CDC) mechanisms • Test and debug ETL processes • Develop complex SQL queries • Manage ETL job scheduling • Load data warehouses using ETL tools, preferably with SQL Server • Integrate data for invoicing, billing, or payment systems Requirements • 6+ years of experience in gathering requirements and developing technical specifications for ETL • 6+ years of experience using ETL tools to design ETL jobs, preferably with 2 years in Alteryx • 6+ years of experience developing various types of data loads • 4+ years of experience implementing change data capture (CDC) • 6+ years of experience in testing and debugging ETL • 6+ years of experience in developing complex SQL • 2+ years of experience in ETL job scheduling • 2+ years of experience in loading data warehouses using ETL tools, preferably with SQL Server • 2+ years of experience in data integration for invoicing, billing, or payment systems • Management experience with multiple ETL tools
