About the Role We are seeking an experienced ETL Informatica Testing Engineer with strong expertise in data validation, ETL testing, and data warehousing concepts using Informatica PowerCenter. Key Responsibilities • Analyse business requirements, ETL specifications, source to target mappings, and data models. • Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for ETL Data Warehouse projects. • Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes developed using Informatica PowerCenter. • Perform source to target data validation and reconciliation. • Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT support testing. • Develop and execute complex SQL queries for backend data validation. • Identify, track, and report defects using defect management tools. • Validate data quality, data integrity, and business transformation rules. • Work closely with ETL developers, business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders. • Support production deployments and perform post-release validations. • Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting. Requirements • 10+ years of experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehouse Testing. • Hands-on experience validating large volume data migrations and transformations. • Knowledge of data quality and data reconciliation techniques. • Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Workflow Monitor, Informatica Repository Manager, Informatica Designer, Workflow Manager. • Strong SQL querying skills and experience with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, Snowflake. • Experience with JIRA, HP ALM Quality Centre, Azure DevOps. • Understanding of Data Warehouse Concepts, Fact and Dimension tables, Star Snowflake schemas. • Experience with Data Mart and Enterprise Data Warehouse architecture. • Experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Exposure to Big Data technologies like Databricks, Hadoop, Spark. • Knowledge of automation testing using Python or Selenium. • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments. • Understanding of CICD and DevOps practices. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field. • Relevant certifications in Informatica ETL Testing or Data Engineering are preferred.
