About the Role We are looking for a FinOps Engineer to join Trilyon Services. This role focuses on driving large-scale cloud cost optimization across regulated financial services environments, combining deep AWS cloud expertise with strong financial knowledge. Key Responsibilities • Own AWS FinOps strategy across multi-account environments • Identify and implement cloud cost-saving opportunities • Establish cost visibility, allocation, chargeback and showback models • Build CUR-based reporting and cost dashboards • Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial variance analysis • Implement cost governance and optimization best practices • Present cost savings, KPIs and recommendations to executive stakeholders Requirements • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure or Cloud Financial Management • 4+ years of hands-on AWS Cost Optimization at scale • Experience with AWS Organizations, multi-account architecture, consolidated billing and cost allocation • Proficiency with AWS Cost Explorer, CUR, Budgets, Compute Optimizer • Knowledge of Savings Plans, Reserved Instances and rightsizing • Experience with Storage optimization and data-transfer cost management • SQL and Python for cost analysis and automation • Terraform or CloudFormation • Strong financial knowledge, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis • Large-scale AWS environments with multi-million-dollar annual cloud spend • Financial services experience (Banking, Payments, Capital Markets, Insurance or FinTech) • Strong understanding of cloud financial management and cost optimization • Experience working with Finance, FP&A, Engineering and executive stakeholders
