About the Role We are looking for a Firmware Developer to join our team for a 12-month contract in Denver, CO. This role focuses on developing, integrating, testing, debugging, and maintaining firmware for RDK-based broadband, video, and IoT platforms. Key Responsibilities • Develop, integrate, test, debug, and maintain firmware for RDK-based platforms • Work with embedded systems and various communication protocols • Utilize C++ and Python for embedded development and automation Requirements • 8–10+ years of experience in firmware development • Strong C++ (C++11/14/17) for embedded development • Python scripting, automation, testing, and debugging • Experience with Embedded Linux — Yocto / Buildroot • RTOS — FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or Zephyr • Experience with set-top boxes, gateways, routers, or similar embedded devices Benefits • Competitive hourly rate of $50/hr on C2C • Opportunity to work on diverse embedded systems projects
