About the Role We are looking for a Firmware Developer with extensive RDK-B experience to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining firmware for various embedded systems. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain firmware for RDK-B platforms • Work with embedded C++ and Python scripting • Implement and test embedded Linux solutions • Customize BSP and perform board bring-up • Integrate and debug firmware components • Optimize performance of embedded systems Requirements • 8-10 years of experience in firmware development • Strong RDK-B development experience • Proficiency in Embedded C++ (11/14/17) • Experience with Python and Perl scripting • Knowledge of Embedded Linux (Yocto/Buildroot) • Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, Zephyr) • Understanding of I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, and TCP/IP • Experience with BSP customization and board bring-up • Knowledge of U-Boot, device trees, and bootloaders • Experience with CMake, Docker, and cross-compilation toolchains • Experience with firmware integration, debugging, and performance optimization Preferred Skills • Experience with broadband gateways, routers, and set-top boxes • Knowledge of RDK-based broadband and IoT solutions • Familiarity with Wi-Fi, BLE, Thread, and Zigbee • Experience with secure boot and OTA updates • Knowledge of edge AI and DSP • Familiarity with MISRA C/C++, ISO 26262, and IEC 62304
