About the Role We are looking for a Firmware Validation Test Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on validating firmware and embedded systems through various testing methodologies. Key Responsibilities • Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing • Validate Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE/5G, GNSS, or vehicle networking systems • Develop Python scripts for testing purposes • Analyze logs and debug using tools like Wireshark, DLT, ADB, and Bluetooth traces • Develop test cases, track defects using JIRA, and perform root cause analysis • Triage production and field issues related to firmware validation Requirements • 8+ years of Firmware / Embedded QA & Validation experience • Strong background in manual testing methodologies • Experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE/5G, GNSS, or vehicle networking • Proficiency in Python scripting and Linux/Ubuntu environments • Knowledge of log analysis and debugging tools • Experience with test case development and defect tracking using JIRA • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
