About the Role We are looking for an experienced Firmware Validation Test Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on testing embedded firmware, connectivity validation, and developing test cases for audio and streaming features. Key Responsibilities • Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing for audio and streaming features • Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and regression test suites • Identify coverage gaps and improve test coverage across feature tracks • Analyze logs using Wireshark, DLT, ADB, HCI/Bluetooth traces, and vehicle logs • Reproduce field issues, isolate root causes, and coordinate with firmware teams • Manage defects end-to-end using JIRA, including fix verification and regression testing • Maintain test benches, in-vehicle test rigs, and diagnostic environments • Collaborate with firmware engineers, product managers, and integration teams Requirements • 10+ years of hands-on firmware validation / embedded QA experience • Python scripting is mandatory • Linux / Ubuntu environment • Connectivity validation: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LTE/5G, GNSS, or vehicle networking • Strong debugging, log analysis, and root cause analysis skills • Wireshark, DLT, ADB, and similar diagnostic tools • JIRA, Confluence, test planning, and defect lifecycle management • Experience in Agile development and release cycles • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
