About the Role We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer specializing in Data Engineering and GenAI to join our team. This role involves building and deploying solutions from customer requirements and working with cutting-edge AI technologies. Key Responsibilities • Build and deploy solutions from ambiguous customer requirements • Work with data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT, data modeling, and pipelines • Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services • Implement GenAI/LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and tool-calling workflows • Communicate effectively with customers to solve problems Requirements • Strong Python and hands-on software engineering skills • Experience with Data Engineering: ETL/ELT, data modeling, schema mapping, and pipelines • Knowledge of REST APIs and backend services • Understanding of GenAI/LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and tool-calling workflows • Excellent customer-facing communication and problem-solving skills • U.S. Citizenship Required Preferred • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or dbt • Knowledge of vector databases, LLM frameworks, and production AI deployments • Federal, defense, intelligence, or mission-critical experience
