About the Role We are looking for a Senior Front-End Web Developer to join our team and help shape the future of our live streaming experience. This role involves leading the development of user-facing video platforms, building responsive UI components in React, and managing real-time data and media streams. Key Responsibilities • Build next-gen streaming UI using React and TypeScript • Optimize video playback with player libraries like Video.js, Hls.js, or Shaka Player • Develop real-time interactive features using WebSockets or SSE • Create broadcaster interfaces using browser media APIs • Continually optimize application performance for concurrent live events Requirements • 4+ years of professional experience with React, modern state management, and TypeScript • Deep understanding of CSS-in-JS or utility-first CSS frameworks • Experience with component-driven development and frontend testing suites • Strong familiarity with live video protocols like HLS, MPEG-DASH, or WebRTC • Hands-on experience with HTML5 <video> tag, Media Source Extensions, and navigator.mediaDevices • Proven experience with open-source media players • Strong background with asynchronous data streams and real-time networking protocols
