About the Role We are looking for a Front-End Developer with hands-on GIS web mapping customization experience for a 4-month contract opportunity in Toronto, Ontario. Key Responsibilities • Build and customize GIS viewers • Extend mapping applications • Integrate ESRI-based services • Ensure AODA and WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility compliance Requirements • Experience with VertiGIS Studio Web SDK • Experience with Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 SDK • Experience with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 • Experience with React and modern front-end frameworks • Knowledge of ESRI GIS technologies and web mapping platforms • Experience with ArcGIS REST API, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Portal • Experience with VertiGIS Studio Web, VertiGIS Studio Workflow, Geocortex Essentials, Experience Builder, or Web AppBuilder • Experience with GIS viewer customization, workflow integration, and deployment • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical teams
