About the Role PostFridge is seeking a Frontend Developer Intern to join their content-sharing platform team. This role involves building and improving their live product, focusing on creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain frontend features using Next.js and React • Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces for desktop and mobile • Integrate frontend components with Spring Boot backend APIs • Improve page speed, image loading, and overall user experience • Debug issues and write clean, reusable code • Collaborate through GitHub and participate in code reviews Requirements • Hands-on project experience with Next.js and React.js • Solid fundamentals in JavaScript (ES6+) • Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 for responsive, mobile-first UI development • Ability to integrate with REST APIs and handle loading, error, and empty states • Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration • Experience with debugging and performance optimization • Candidates who have built at least one working React or Next.js project • Ability to share a GitHub repository or live deployment • Capability to understand existing code and implement features • Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and accept feedback Good to have • TypeScript • Tailwind CSS • Next.js App Router • SEO knowledge • Web performance optimization skills
