About the Role HTC Global Services is seeking a Functional QA Engineer to join their team for a 2-year extendable contract in Dubai. This role requires a strong background in the airline industry and experience with Passenger Service Systems (PSS) and Reservation flows. Key Responsibilities • Document test cases for functional and GUI testing • Execute test cases and manage defect lifecycle • Perform API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI • Conduct basic database testing • Test eCommerce platforms including websites, mobile sites, and applications • Create test reports and coordinate defect resolution with development teams • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance Requirements • Essential background in the airline industry • Mid-level understanding of airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS) and Reservation flows • Experience in test case documentation and execution • Sound experience in functional and GUI testing • Defect lifecycle management skills • API testing tools such as Postman and SoapUI • Basic database testing experience • Experience in testing eCommerce platforms • Exposure to working with Development and DevOps teams • Ability to create test reports • Experience in identifying, documenting, tracking, and coordinating defect resolution • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
