About the Role We are seeking a Functional QA Tester to join our team. This role involves testing Guidewire applications and ensuring high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Collaborate with client QA Team and other stakeholders to understand system requirements • Develop and execute test cases based on business requirements • Test and validate complex business rules and workflows • Provide accurate estimates for manual testing tasks • Utilize Agile methodologies to drive efficient testing processes • Continuously improve testing processes and strategies Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field • Minimum 5+ years of experience in testing Guidewire Claim Center Configuration and Insurance Suite applications • Strong understanding of P&C insurance, including Personal Lines and Commercial Lines • Experience in Claims creation, FNOLs, Reserves, Checks, and other payment transactions • Analyst Associate certification in Guidewire • Experience in manual Testing in Guidewire Cloud Projects – Upgrade or Implementation • Experience in Guidewire Automation Testing • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments • Solid knowledge of test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, ADO, Rally or similar • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills • Experience working in an Agile environment following the Onsite Offshore mode • Mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Agile certifications are desirable • Strong technical skills in non-functional testing in a continuous delivery environment • Functional Knowledge / hands on any of the other Guidewire XCenters namely Policy Center, Billing Center and Contact Manager • Experience in Guidewire Automation Testing using Guidewire GT UI Framework
