About the Role We are looking for an experienced GCP Data Engineer with strong Java development skills to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines and developing Java applications using Google Cloud Platform services. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines using GCP services. • Build transformation libraries using Python and Apache Beam. • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring and REST APIs. • Support real-time data processing using Kafka and Google Pub/Sub. • Participate in application upgrades, deployments, and ongoing data management across Development, QA, and Production environments. • Create technical documentation, diagrams, and code comments. • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver quality solutions. • Leverage industry trends and cloud technologies to build efficient and scalable solutions. Requirements • 5–7 years of overall experience • Strong Java and GCP experience • Must be available for 100% onsite work in Charlotte, NC • Good communication and collaboration skills
