About the Role We are looking for a Senior Golang Engineer with Java experience to join our team in the banking and financial services industry. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement backend APIs and microservices • Integrate backend APIs with frontend/mobile applications • Utilize AWS technologies including ECS, Fargate, and cloud-native solutions • Work with Terraform and CloudFormation for infrastructure as code • Collaborate with the team on technical requirements and troubleshooting Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Golang and Python FastAPI • Java development experience • Experience with backend API development and microservices architecture • AWS experience, including ECS, Fargate, and cloud-native technologies • Knowledge of AWS Graviton/ARM64 architecture • Experience with Terraform and CloudFormation • Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments • Experience with React and/or Angular • Strong communication, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills Important Requirements • Local candidates only; proof of location required • Valid LinkedIn profile with a photo is mandatory • Glider Advanced Software Engineering assessment is required • Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite per week • Standard working hours: 8 AM–5 PM CST • Travel is not expected during the initial 6 months; future travel may be possible
