About the Role We are looking for an experienced Golden Image Engineer with strong expertise in Docker, Linux, Python automation, vulnerability management, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, securing, optimising, and maintaining Docker-based Golden Images for internal platform consumption. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain Docker-based Golden Images for internal platform consumption • Develop secure, reproducible, and optimised container images • Implement image versioning, lifecycle management, and release processes • Optimise image build performance and reduce image size • Apply container image best practices, including multi-stage builds • Identify, analyse, and remediate operating system and application vulnerabilities • Perform CVE analysis and define appropriate remediation strategies • Work with security teams to address findings from vulnerability scanners • Implement security baselines, OS hardening, and compliance standards • Develop Python scripts and tools to automate image creation, validation, and maintenance • Build automation for vulnerability assessment, patch management, and compliance reporting • Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for container image builds and releases • Manage, troubleshoot, and harden Linux-based operating systems Requirements • 6+ years of experience in Golden Image Engineering • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Dockerfile development • Expertise in Golden Image Engineering, container image creation, maintenance, and optimisation • Strong knowledge of Linux administration, OS hardening, patching, and package management • Proficiency in Python scripting and automation • Experience with vulnerability scanning, CVE analysis, and remediation • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and automation • Knowledge of container security best practices and image compliance
