About the Role We are seeking an Expert Database Architect specializing in Informatica ETL and data warehousing for a contract position in Albany, NY. This role requires extensive experience in healthcare data integration and enterprise data warehousing. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC • Develop database architecture for enterprise healthcare data warehousing • Perform Informatica administration including installation, configuration, and performance optimization • Implement dimensional modeling using Star Schema and Kimball methodology • Integrate healthcare data including patient admissions, discharges, billing, and pharmacy • Develop UNIX/Linux shell scripts for automation and ETL workflow monitoring • Ensure HIPAA compliance and PHI protection • Provide production support and ETL performance tuning • Mentor team members and conduct code reviews Requirements • 12+ years of experience in database architecture and ETL development • 18+ years of experience for GC candidates • Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter 10.5.x+, IDMC, and ETL development • Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture and relational database management • Experience with healthcare data integration and enterprise data warehousing • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting and automation • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data lineage • Experience with HIPAA compliance and database security • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
