About the Role We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team in Tampa, FL. This is a 12-month contract-to-hire position requiring 3 days onsite per week. Key Responsibilities • Develop enterprise applications using Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, and Git tools • Work with messaging systems like IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, and JMS • Maintain applications on Linux/Unix environments with Apache Tomcat • Deploy applications to AWS, OpenShift, and Docker/Kubernetes • Work with databases including Oracle and PostgreSQL Requirements • Strong experience with Core Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot • Experience with CI/CD tools and Git repositories • Knowledge of messaging systems and enterprise integration patterns • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and Apache Tomcat • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OpenShift) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Database experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL • Recent financial services experience is required Benefits • Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for permanent employment
