About the Role We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team in Wilmington, DE. This role involves developing cloud-native applications and leading architectural decisions. Key Responsibilities • Develop Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices • Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka • Integrate AI/ML infrastructure and RAG pipelines • Utilize AWS services including EC2, S3, ECS, Lambda, and Kinesis • Lead technical decisions and mentor engineers Requirements • Strong experience in Java (JDK 8/11/17) and Spring Boot • Hands-on expertise with Kafka, Cassandra, and GemFire • Experience with cloud-native application development • Knowledge of AWS services and event-driven architectures • Familiarity with PCF, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines • Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring engineers
