About the Role Our client is seeking experienced Java Engineers for a remote contract-to-hire opportunity. This role involves providing technical leadership and designing scalable software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Provide technical leadership and guide engineering teams through complex challenges • Design scalable software solutions and enterprise integrations • Mentor and support other engineers in technical problem-solving • Drive improvements in DevOps practices and software delivery • Collaborate with architects, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams • Translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms • Develop sustainable solutions using modern engineering practices Requirements • 9+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Framework • 2+ years of experience with OpenShift and event-driven technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ • 5+ years of experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB • 3+ years of experience in microservices architecture and event-driven design • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business rules, and data sourcing • 3+ years of experience with GitHub, DevOps practices, and related tools • Hands-on experience with AI platforms to improve automation and engineering efficiency • Must be a US Citizen • All professional experience must be within the United States
