About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team for a 12-month contract. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices architecture to build and maintain scalable enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop scalable Java/Spring Boot backend applications • Build responsive frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript • Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices • Optimize database models and application performance • Collaborate with architects, QA, and cross-functional teams • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and Agile ceremonies Requirements • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot • Strong hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs • Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) • Strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and software engineering best practices Important Client Requirements • Must be available to work onsite in Montreal 3 days per week • Must be willing to attend a mandatory in-person interview in Montreal • Strong hands-on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular experience is essential
