About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Montreal. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and Microservices. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications • Build responsive frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript • Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices • Design and optimize relational database models and SQL queries • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA, and development teams • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and deployments • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance • Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning and delivery Requirements • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot • Extensive experience with Microservices architecture • Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript • Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration • Experience with SQL and relational databases • Understanding of distributed systems and enterprise architecture • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS/Azure • Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and software engineering best practices Important Client Requirements • Must be available to work onsite in Montreal, QC, 3 days per week • Must be willing to attend a mandatory face-to-face interview in Montreal • Strong hands-on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular experience is mandatory
