About the Role We are looking for an experienced Java GCP Engineer to design, build, and optimize high-throughput, low-latency microservices and cloud-native workloads. Key Responsibilities • Architect, develop, and maintain secure, scalable microservices • Orchestrate, deploy, and monitor containerized workloads on GCP using GKE and Cloud Monitoring • Implement robust API security, distributed tracing, and CI/CD pipelines • Collaborate closely with architecture, QA, and security teams in an Agile delivery model Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience • Strong expertise in Java (11/17), Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture • Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)—specifically GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub • Hands-on with PostgreSQL / Cloud SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Bigtable), and event-driven architecture using Kafka or GCP Pub/Sub • Proven experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (IaC) • Proficiency in TDD using JUnit and Mockito
