About the Role Client is looking for an experienced Full Stack Lead with a strong Backend Engineering focus to lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities • Lead system design, application architecture, and backend development for scalable enterprise platforms. • Design and develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs. • Build reliable distributed and event-driven systems using Kafka. • Define service boundaries, API contracts, data models, integration patterns, and system workflows. • Remain hands-on with coding, code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and technical problem solving. • Design systems for scalability, high availability, resiliency, security, caching, and fault tolerance. • Lead technical delivery across multiple workstreams and mentor engineers. • Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, frontend/mobile, and integration teams. • Drive solutions from requirements and architecture through development, deployment, and production support. • Support cloud-native deployments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Requirements • 12+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend development expertise. • Deep hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot. • Strong experience with System Design and Software Architecture. • Proven experience building Microservices and Distributed Systems. • Strong hands-on experience with Kafka / Event-Driven Architecture. • Experience designing and integrating REST APIs. • Strong understanding of concurrency, performance, retries, idempotency, failure handling, and eventual consistency. • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment. • Proven technical leadership while remaining hands-on with development. • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
