About the Role We are seeking a Software Engineer – Java Microservices & Digital Banking to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java/Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, Angular web applications, and integrations with iOS/Android mobile platforms, delivering secure, scalable digital banking capabilities. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, test, and maintain resilient Java/Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs • Collaborate across Angular web and iOS/Android ecosystems to deliver cohesive digital customer journeys • Translate business requirements into technical designs in partnership with Product Owners, BAs, and SMEs • Write clean, modular code using TDD with comprehensive unit and automated integration testing • Apply object-oriented design, design patterns, transactional integrity, and security standards such as OAuth2, OIDC, and mTLS • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, peer code reviews, backlog grooming, and CI/CD pipelines • Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve defects, mitigate risks, and align onshore/offshore engineering delivery Requirements • Proficiency in Java 11/17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot for microservices and RESTful APIs • Strong Core Java knowledge including multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and garbage collection • Experience with event-driven architectures • Hands-on with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL and ORM tools including JPA/Hibernate • Proficient in SQL optimization, data modeling, and transaction management • Web development using Angular (v12+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 • Working knowledge of mobile development on iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) or cross-platform SDK integration • Testing with JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine/Karma, and Cypress • Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Bitbucket/GitHub, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Tekton • Familiarity with containers and orchestration such as Docker and OpenShift/Kubernetes • 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience
