About the Role We are seeking a Java Spring Backend Developer for a contract position. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining systems and applications to meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop backend systems using Java and Spring Boot • Implement REST and SOAP APIs • Work with XML and JSON technologies • Utilize Jira and Confluence for reporting and documentation • Ensure adherence to technology standards • Lead technical aspects of projects • Assign resources and delegate tasks to meet project deliverables Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field • 8 years of relevant IT experience • 8 years of Java development and J2EE Spring knowledge • Knowledge of Kafka • 8 years of experience in XML and JSON technologies • 4 years of Oracle database SQL development • 8 years of REST and SOAP API development experience • Experience in reporting with JIRA and Confluence • Proficiency in UNIX and Linux environments • Knowledge of Gen AI, Agentic AI, and prompt engineering
