About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Key Statistician to join our team on a contract basis. This role requires expertise in statistical sampling methodologies, pension plan audits, and compliance programs. Key Responsibilities • Provide expert statistical analysis for pension plan audits and compliance programs • Design and evaluate statistical sampling methodologies • Offer expert witness testimony when required • Utilize statistical software like SAS, R, or Python for data analysis Requirements • 15+ years of experience in statistical sampling design, development, and evaluation • Expertise in stratified sampling, sample selection, confidence levels, and margin of error • Experience providing expert witness testimony before courts or government agencies • Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python • Experience with financial audits, compliance, pension plans, or payment-error sampling • Knowledge of ERISA and defined benefit pension plans is preferred • PhD or advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred • Must be US-based and available during 9 AM–3 PM ET • Eligibility for a PBGC Public Trust background investigation • Expert witness history and detailed project experience required • Signed Letter of Intent (LOI) confirming availability required
