About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Kubernetes Platform Engineer to support a major High Performance Computing (HPC) initiative. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes at scale, cloud infrastructure, and GPU compute environments. Key Responsibilities • Operate and maintain large-scale Kubernetes platforms across EKS, GKE, and other cloud environments • Manage cluster lifecycle, node pools, networking policies, scheduler troubleshooting, and rolling upgrades • Provision HPC infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines across AWS, CoreWeave, GCP, and OCI • Manage GPU compute allocation and job scheduling for AI training and inference workloads • Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, SLIs, and SLOs • Participate in incident response, severity escalations, and post-incident reviews • Collaborate with Networking, Storage, Security, and AI/ML Platform teams Requirements • 4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience at scale • Strong knowledge of cluster operations, node pool sizing, scheduler debugging, CNI troubleshooting, and rolling upgrades • Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code • Python scripting for tooling and automation • Working knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, EFS, and FSx for Lustre • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident management • Exposure to GPU/HPC job scheduling and multi-cloud Kubernetes environments
