About the Role We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloudera/Hadoop Migration Engineer to lead the migration of on-premises Cloudera/Hadoop workloads to AWS. This role requires strong hands-on big data engineering expertise and AWS cloud migration experience. Key Responsibilities • Lead the migration of on-premises Cloudera/Hadoop workloads to AWS • Coordinate with Infrastructure, Content, Engineering, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders • Own the migration end to end while managing stakeholder communication and delivery Requirements • 10+ years of enterprise software engineering and Big Data experience • Strong hands-on experience with Cloudera Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark, Oozie, and Python • Proven experience migrating on-premises Hadoop workloads to AWS • AWS Big Data services: EMR, Glue, Airflow, and Lambda • Shell scripting (Bash) and data pipeline troubleshooting • Platform engineering tools: Bitbucket, Gradle, Octopus, and Artifactory • Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools • Strong stakeholder communication, migration planning, and technical documentation skills
