About the Role We are looking for an experienced Lead Mainframe Engineer with strong DB2 expertise to join our team. This role involves managing mainframe infrastructure and requires excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities • Manage mainframe infrastructure • Provide technical leadership for DB2 systems • Collaborate with team members on mainframe projects Requirements • 5+ years of mainframe experience • Strong DB2 experience (crucial requirement) • 1+ year with UNIX System Services (USS), Zowe, and z/OSMF • 2+ years in mainframe storage infrastructure • 3+ years installing, customizing, and deploying mainframe software using SMP/E • Programming/scripting experience with REXX, COBOL, SAS, ISPF, CLIST, or JCL • IBM Specialist (System z) certification • Excellent communication skills • Preferred: Retail industry experience
