About the Role We are seeking a MDE Development Support Engineer to join the Social Security Administration (SSA) team. This role involves leading development and sustainment of enterprise platform components while ensuring secure application design and maintenance. Key Responsibilities • Lead development and sustainment of enterprise platform components • Design, develop, test, and maintain secure applications • Manage CI/CD pipelines, vulnerability remediation, and platform modernization • Perform root cause analysis and mentor engineering teams Requirements • 15+ years of experience in development support • Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 3.4.x, Maven 3, Node.js 22+, TypeScript 4+ • Experience with JSON, JSON Schema Draft-07, YAML, JUnit 5, Mockito, Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium • Knowledge of Jenkins, Groovy, CI/CD pipelines, PostgreSQL, H2, Python • Familiarity with SonarQube, Black Duck, and application security • Strong troubleshooting, technical leadership, and production support experience • Must be able to obtain and maintain US Public Trust Clearance Preferred • Federal enterprise systems and government project experience
