About the Role We are looking for an experienced Messaging & Streaming Platform Engineer to support and enhance enterprise-scale messaging and streaming environments. Key Responsibilities • Engineer, administer, and support enterprise Kafka and RabbitMQ platforms • Manage installations, upgrades, patching, and configurations • Monitor platform health, availability, and performance • Troubleshoot complex messaging and distributed system issues • Implement security, backup, and disaster recovery solutions • Support application teams and drive operational automation Requirements • Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Mandatory) • RabbitMQ experience highly preferred – experience with both Kafka and RabbitMQ is ideal • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience • Experience supporting enterprise-scale messaging and streaming platforms • Strong knowledge of performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and/or Dynatrace • 6–12 years of relevant middleware, messaging, or distributed systems experience • Must be authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship • Must be available to work 100% onsite in Round Rock, TX or Hopkinton, MA • Onsite interview is required Nice to Have • Previous experience working with Dell Technologies / Dell EMC • Kubernetes and Docker • AI-assisted operations, observability, and automation • Experience with IBM MQ, ActiveMQ, or Apache Flink
