About the Role Our client is seeking a Middle level DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform for a long-term remote project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP services and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD • Manage and automate infrastructure using Terraform • Deploy, update, and troubleshoot workloads with Docker and Kubernetes • Monitor and alert on system performance using Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, or Grafana • Ensure cloud security and identity and access management Requirements • 3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud, or systems engineering • At least 1 year of experience with GCP in production • Experience with core GCP services: Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, and VPC • Practical Terraform experience: writing and reusing modules, managing remote state • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines • Working experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Solid Linux administration skills and basic Windows Server administration • Scripting in Python and Bash for automation • Good understanding of networking fundamentals • Understanding of cloud security fundamentals and identity and access management • Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to problem-solving • Upper-Intermediate (B2) English or higher, spoken and written
